A big drum is what you are looking for, and we make them in a variety of sizes.
Our 36" drums keep the look of the standard size ashiko but have all around larger dimensions. The diameter of the head is between 14 and 16 inches creating a larger playing surface. It still offers a good range of tones but the emphasis is definitely on the bass.
The largest drums we make are the pow wows. These are generally no taller than 24" in order to be able to fit through most doorways, but the heads can be anywhere from 20 inches to 32 inches across. They are playable with hands or mallets and are always the heartbeat of any musical gathering.
